What is Microblading? 

Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique where we implant organic pigments on the first layer of the skin recreating new hairs on your brows. 

What is Phibrows? 

Phibrows is an advanced Microblading technique that stands out from other techniques due to its Golden proportion that is based on designing the brows according to the bone structure of every single face, with Phibrows also natural hair growth is matched with the new hairs that are drawn. Phibrows pigments are premium quality so that you will not have red or orange brows; all the tools we use are new, disposable and sterile. 

Who performs the treatment? 

Tifany Loria is been educated at the European academy Phi Academy, she has the title of Phibrows Master Assistant, she earned the title due to the higher level of her work. 

What is the difference between Microblading and Tattoo? 

Unlike a tattoo, Microblading is only performed under the first layer of the skin, this keeps the treatment on a low level of pain and the color will never be blue or green after the lifetime of the treatment. 

How long does the Microblading last? 

Microblading lasts up to 3 years. 

How long does the Microblading take? 

Microblading takes 2 hours and Powder Brows or Microshading takes 3 hours. 

What happens after the lifetime of the Microblading? 

The color will fade away but you can get a color refresh after 6 months. 

Does Microblading need a touch-up session? 

Regularly a second session is needed after the healing process anytime after the 3rd week of the first procedure, this is included in the price until 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, extra charges apply. 

How do I know if I am medically qualified for Microblading? 

If you have a medical condition, please let your expert knowledge in advance; however, these diseases do not allow to perform Microblading or any other micro pigmentation technique: 

Acne, skin disorders, treatment with Accutane, healing disorders, troubles with the blood coagulation, pregnancy, breastfeeding, Botox or fillers within less than 3 weeks, autoimmune diseases psoriasis or HIV+. Diabetes only is with medical consent. 

What is the After Care for Microblading?

On the 1st and the 2nd day clean your brows at least 3 times a day, and apply the aftercare ointment. 

From the 3rd to the 7th day avoid getting your brows wet, and only apply the ointment before you take a shower to protect them from water. 

For 1 week avoid swimming either on the beach or pool; using any cream, makeup, lotion, or sunscreen directly on your brows; excessive exposure to the sun; sauna or exercise that implies a lot of sweating. 

What if I have a previous Microblading? 

If the previous work is almost faded we can perform the treatment, we might need a free consultation to check the color and the skin. 

If the color of the previous work is dark you might need to remove it before we can perform a new treatment.

*We consider it as a new treatment instead of a touch-up if the previous work was not made by us. 

How is the healing process for Microblading? 

On the 1st and the 2nd day the color will look 30 to 40% darker than what it will look after 3 weeks when the healing process is complete, however, they will look totally acceptable to keep going on with your daily activities, they will not get swollen.  

Sometime around the 4th to the 6th day, a layer of flaky dead skin will be formed and will peel, it is normal that some color goes away by those days. Let the flakes fall in a natural way, do not scratch. If it gets itchy, rub softly with a dry cotton pad. 

After the peeling period, the color might look faded but it will come back eventually until the 21st day. That is when we will know the real outcome. 

Touch-up if necessary can be done anytime after the 3rd week, because before this time the skin will be very sensitive. 

Is Microblading painful? 

Due to the treatment being only performed on a superficial level of the skin, this keeps the treatment on a low level of pain, however, we use numbing cream and gel during the process. The level of pain is relative from client to client. Just FYI most of our clients fall asleep during the procedure.
